At the MPD Foundation we have the utmost respect for the privacy of our visitors and donors. In order to tailor services and provide news to the patient community the following information may be contributed voluntarily when a visitor to www.mpdfoundation.org fills out the Newsletter Registration Form available on our website: name, address, email / phone number, diagnosis & referral information. This data is stored in the secure MPD Foundation database, which is password protected and accessible only by authorized personnel of the MPD Foundation. It is the policy of the MPD Foundation that we do not share, sell or publicize in any way the information in our database without the express written consent of the individual.
Online Donations
The MPD Foundation accepts donations online via the secure service PayPal. As such, information from donations made online is collected by PayPal and is not collected or stored by the MPD Foundation directly.
Visitor Information
The MPD Foundation collects generic information on the use of the website in order to analyze the use and popularity of pages on the website. Data on the IP address of visitors are generated by a third party and no personal information is gathered or stored.
Links
The MPD Foundation links to websites related to the myeloproliferative disorders. Following a link will open a website in a new browser that is not maintained by the MPD Foundation. We offer the links as a service to our users and take no responsibility for the security of other sites once a visitor leaves www.mpdfoundation.org.
